Regular mic compatible w/ Karaoke Rev.?

I have a regular microphone that I had gotten free with a shelf system I bought a few years back. I was wondering if I could use this to play Karaoke Revolution. Now, the mic has a regular 3.5MM Headphone jack connection on it. Is there such an adapter as a 3.5mm jack-to-USB cable? If so, should the mic then work with Karaoke Revolution?

From what I understand any USB mic functions with the KR games (such as a logitech), so I would assume that an adapted microphone would function as well. The main concern would be the pick up quality coming through the adapter.
