I was at one of my favorite stores in the world, Harrison's Comics and Collectibles in Salem, MA and saw this baby for $20

It's a hardbound collection of the best Nintendo comics printed. The pages aren't numbered and I haven't the time to count so I can't tell you an actual number of pages but it is a THICK book.
Also, there is no original retail price printed on the book, but I got it for $20, which I think (and hope) is a good price for this collection.
But man, this is a great collection. It is sooooo 80s. I'm only halfway through it too. I'm glad to add it to my collection of miscellaneous video game-related shiznit

Looks really cool. I didn't even know there was any Nintendo comics out there let alone a compilation of all of the best ones.
What other comics are there other than Mario, Metroid, Punch Out and Zelda?

haha, oh god..those were so horrible and yet I loved them to pieces. I credit the Legend of Zelda comic book for introducing me to Valiant comics, which I fell in love with through stories from Magnus Robot Fighter... Solar... Shadowman...Archer & Armstrong...X-O Manowar....
Jesus man, they had some badass stuff. From what I understand the entire Valiant universe went to shit eventually (especially after Acclaim bought them out). Shame :( I would really have loved to have seen nice Harbinger or Bloodshot games. Shame all we got were some subpar Turok and Shadowman games and then a horrible X-O Manowar game :(

I actually have the one where Captain N is all like "Holy cow, what a woman Samus is!" Or something to that effect. Nice job finding one in the wild.

A GameBoy one where the GameBoy acted as a warp zone for Super Mario Land where Tatanga came out of the GameBoy and came to life and tried to conquer Earth and Mario popped out to stop him. And a couple Captain N comics too.
They're sooooo deliciously 80s

I LOVE that store. My friend Chris and I go there first on every trek to Salem, which is like 2 or 3 times a month. It's not that long a ride from Medford, but it's still not something we do all the time. I can't miss a trip to Game Zone either when I'm up there.
Maybe I'll run into you sometime. Look for a short, long-haired chick with a tall Cuban-looking dude. Or a long-haired guy with glasses and a big head (the big-headed one is my boyfriend Wig. I go up with him sometimes too LOL)
