Hey Joe...

I hope your store is going well!

Any interesting stories to tell thus far? Any shoplifters? Assholes? Morons?

Tell us a story like Gord used to do!

Yes, Joe. Let us kiddies gather around the fire and hear the lore.

So is Gord dunsky? I heard he is in Korea or something. I think I vaguely remember him saying this is something he'd been wanting to do years ago. Is he coming back? Still in the biz?

Back to you, Joe.

i just read the entire acts of gord, and it was most entertaining, reminded me of my days dealing with twats in the realm of videogame retail

I thought it was pretty widely agreed upon that most of the stuff Gord wrote about was overblown or downright ficticious. I've always heard he was a huge egotistical ass that quickly wore out his welcome at most of the sites and forums he would frequent.

I mean, some of his stuff is funny, but I'd much rather do business at Joe's than to visit the video game equivelant of the "Comic Book Guy."

Lol..some of his comebacks do just seems a bit too witty. Comic book guy... LOL

I don't doubt much of it was exaggerated for the sake of entertainment. I just reread the whole Acts the other day. hilarious stuff.

Also, if you'll read all the books of Gord you'll notice that quite a few things he allegedly done would get him arrested.

He freely admits to chasing people and assaulting them.

At that point, I stopped believing what he was writing.

I agree, the punching and slapping incidents (especially on school grounds) are most probably ficticious, but I'm willing to bet money that many of the incidents he chronicles really happened. Sure, his comebacks are a bit too whitty to believe in many cases, but it does make for some damn entertaining reading.

Whatever happened to that site about Johnny Turbo of TurboDuo fame? Now THAT was some funny stuff! I can't find it now.
