Zelda OOT Bonus disc, Pre-order?

OK, I just went to best buy, saw the 2-game Zelda bonus disc for $15.00 and bought it. Did I just pre-order Zelda windwaker? It doesn't say anything about it on the receipt, but I was under the impression it was only available to pre-orders?

On a side note, their Animal crossing E-cards are $4.99 a pack, they weren't price-marked and I'm pretty pissed since they're only $3.29 at EB....

All the gamestops got the Zelda shipments in Friday and Saturday but Gamestop sent an email to the managers saying not to give them out until sunday.. Thing is.. EB is giving them out and several other places while only a few Gamestops have managers who are not scared of getting fired for not following the email.. I don't mind waiting.. but damn, not much I can do except make sure my name is on one of them and be at gamestop on Sunday..

The rule of thumb should always be, "Shipment is in, sell away" not, "Shimpment is in, release date 8 days from now.. let em wait"

This isn't looking good for gamestop.. Though I wouldn't use EB for any of my game purchases ever..

this last friday.. every gamestop store has had the zelda pre-orders for 24 hours at the least... Though the one in my town the store manager is scared to give em out because of an Email she got last week saying that none of them shall go out under the 17th.. not even to employee's..

Thanks Wulf. As soon as I saw this post earlier today, I ran to Best Buy and picked up a couple of the Bonus discs, one to play and one to leave sealed. My local Gamestop was MUCHO pissed off when I told them I got it. They were like "WTF?"

I called gamestop today, most;ly because I've been screwed by stores in their chain many times, and asked if they had it in yet. The guy said no, but that they'd call me. I responded by telling him that they obviously wouldn't since they hadn't taken my phone number.

He then attempted to look up my pre-order slip.

Lo and behold! No pre-order on record for me! What a fucking surprise. So I told him I had my receipt an dhe made up a fake slip for me with my number on it. Hopefully I'll get a call when they come in.

I ordered from EB Online, but they said it would ship the 17th. I guess they decided to get 'em out as soon as possible. I haven't played it yet though, but the screenshots look cool. I'd like to get some feedback from people who played the original N64 version to see how this version holds up.

Too bad I still need a N64 to play Majora's Mask and Castlevania 64...
