I had a couple of these lying around and recently replaced the batteries. They are basically wristwatches with little games built in. I got the SMB one working just fine, but the Zelda one I can not figure out what to do. There's only 4 directional buttons, and I can't figure out any mode of atttack. Anyone know how to play this?

Same watch, different packaging.

There's no actual attack animation, but when you move into the same space as an enemy and press one of those side buttons, you'll hit it. Be careful, it's a rather addicting game. ;-)

That's the Super Mario World watch (which is also awesome). The Super Mario Bros. one is completely different, and much older. There's also a Super Mario 3 watch. Oh, and a Star Fox watch that's the same style as the Mario World one, completely with a headphone jack as well.

That's what I figured...it's but every time I tried this, I just got hurt and died. Messed with it for a good 15 minutes too. I just can't seem to hurt any enemies...

How odd. Have you tried both side buttons? I think one of them is used for placing bombs or something, so you won't notice anything with that.

I'm very upset. The plastic buckle part of the strap to my Zelda Game & Watch is cracked. I need to super-glue it or replace it at some point.
What happened was I was only wearing it w/Nintendo stuff because it's very hard-to-find and I didn't want it getting too much wear-and-tear, but then my regular watch broke so the Zelda watch was my only watch. Now I have no watch and it's still been like 2 months and I still keep looking at my naked wrist.
I gotta fix that buckle. I also need a new strap for my AC/DC watch. Man I'm lazy.

You mean like the side buttons used to set the time? Hmmm, I'll give it a shot.
GameSalveGaz, maybe you could find an exact replacement for the buckle on another watch at WalMart?

Right, the two small round buttons on the side of the watch (I don't remember which side). One of those should let you start kicking ass and taking names.

Yeah, I was gonna just get like a red replacement strap and take the buckle off that, or maybe if I went to a jeweler or watch repair place they've have that part alone. I'm just lazy and forgetful. When I have the time I either forget to go do it or I put it off.
And a great example of how a simple typo makes a world of difference, with one accidental switching of letters you changed me from a slave to my games to an ointment of my games. See it? "Game Salve?" LOL. I'm sorry I'm just easily amused.
