I am thinking of purchasing Towers: Lord Baniff's Deceit for the Gameboy Color. At this time, the only RPG I have is Lord of the Dungeon for the ColecoVision (which has stood the test of time- I'll find and destroy those Titans this time...if I can find them...and they don't get me first...).
Does anyone here own this game? Is it any good? Keep in mind that I do not really like third-person games like Dragon Warrior, but much prefer Wizardry-style games.
Thanks.

I recently played this game, but at a friend's house, so I didnt spend too much time with it. It reminds me of the early Might and Magics, except it has less depth.Yet simplicity is great( and if you love Coleco games, Im assuming you like it too). It may have more to it than i think, because there were these letters on the screen which Im not sure what they are(spells, possibly). Anyway, if the game is cheap, go ahead. You'll have a pleasurable experience with RPG's :)

I do like RPGs. Apparently, with older gamers, this is not unusual.
I'll purchase it, as soon as I can scrape up the cash (about $25.00, including everything). Once I have it, I'll write up a review.
It looks pretty good. According to a hints section at Telegames, it starts to heat up on Level 3, when you encounter multiple monsters.
Thanks.
After buying/finishing Towers, there's always Towers II on the Jag.

They remade the Jag Towers for GBC, and Infogrames was remaking Towers 2. Yet the project was canceled.
Just a little bit of knowledge 8-)
