HOWEVER, the CD portion of the case is still sealed brand new in its original wrap!

What Saturn games really sealed like that? Looks horrible atleast hehe.

He must live in bizzaro world. In bizzaro world new sealed games all look like a were shrinkwraped by Parkinsons suffering senior citizens. Also in bizzaro world all auctions start high and go down in price as the auction progresses. I put in a best offer of 1 cent, so I win.

Don't get it. Why would the CD be shrinkwrapped separately inside the box???
Is that normal for Sega games?

No, to my knowledge, I don't believe that any Sega Saturn games were EVER packaged in a fashion where the actual game disc itself would have been wrapped up in any kind of plastic or even in a way that this particular auction item is wrapped.

I used to work at a video game rental store and I can attest to the fact that Sega Saturn games, even the games released late in the Saturn's lifespan were never factory sealed that way.

I can say that firsthand, back when a friend of mine bought Panzer Dragoon Saga back at Toys R Us in 1998. He was so excited to buy it that he ripped the wrapper off the game right even before we drove out of the Toys R Us parking lot. Of course, once we got back to his house, he fired up the first disc and was immersed in the goodness that is Panzer Dragoon Saga. I only wished that I had enough sense to buy a copy of that game, even though I don't have a Saturn.

My friend was cool enough to let me borrow his Saturn as well as Panzer Dragoon Saga about a year later, right before he left to go back home and take care of some business in Canada. I've long since given his Saturn back to him and he still has all of his games to this day.

Who didn't rip open any newly bought game within minutes of getting into the car? :D
