How come there's no Microvision emulator?
Is it technically more challenging to emulate than other systems? Or, more likely, are there so few Microvision fans around that no one cares? Even the Adventurevision with its paltry 4 game software library is emulated well by MESS.
Someone, hurry up and emulate the darn thing! I have an irrational need to play 20 year old LCD games like Sea Duel on my flat-screen iMac.

To tell you the truth, I have never heard of the system. Who made it and how was it? Any links to picture of the system and games?

Zektor, I'm disappointed (hanging head in shame)... mods must know EVERYTHING! :)

Here's a good link to the system:

This guys got a great site on a whole bunch of handheld stuff; have a look!

I remember that thing. I never had one tho...I'll do some searches on emulation. There has to be someone out there dedicated enough to write an emulator for it...

I have a MicroVision emulator!

Here's what I do:
1. do something to piss my wife off (easy)
2. place my head in an ordinary workbench vise.
3. have wife twist vise.

See? It's EZ.

Ha!

I own a Microvision and I'd say that it isn't that bad. It really DOES seem like there should be an emulator for it to me.

Ha! Most amusing indeed.

GameFAQs has a pretty good page of information on that system. (Apparently, there are some versions of Phaser Strike from which the Star Trek name had been removed. Curious.)

Perhaps the whole separate-processor thing makes it more difficult to emulate?
