Kids don't understand about cell phones.. they just see it as a cool little toy that lets you talk to your friends from anywhere.. well, when you get older what a cell phone becomes is a leash. your boss will call, your wife will call and not a one of them just want to talk.. You become a slave to your phone; those people who have to drive and pump gas and rent a movie rambling on about nothing really important. The last car accedent I got into 2 weeks ago was because of a lady talking on the cell phone.. she rammed into me then actually got out of the car still talking on the phone..

I see these cellaholics everywhere.. I make fun of them; so inert to stay connected they fail to see that they are slaves. They start to shake when they don't have enough "cell" friends to keep them talking 24/7. Like suddenly they don't "have it" anymore..

Then you've got to do the upgrade keeping up with Jone's thing.. you start saying to yourself, "my phone won't play those game tunes! I must make it so I can.", "My phone can't fold in 4 places and fit in my wallet!" It never stops.

Okay, I know that might not have been aimed at me, but if it was, don't tell me that I don't understand about cell phones. I understand perfectly well. I have one and I don't use it as a "toy" and I know what you mean about people calling to check up on you because I'm only 15 and I already get that. But, you could turn your phone off if you don't want anyone calling. Or if you leave it on and someone who you don't want to talk to does call you, you can not answer because all phones nowadays have caller ID.

But I do agree about people on cell phones when they're driving. I don't drive yet but when I do, there's no way I would talk on the phone at the same time I was trying to drive because those two just don't mix.

I didn't smoke when I was 15. I didn't get stupid enough to do that until I was 18.. I still thought "Dope" was bad when I was 15 and only bad people did "dope." You will find in life that you will become addicted to behaviors.. Be it doing crack to climbing mountains to being so fixated on your image that talking on the phone 24/7 becomes part of the "package."

ramble ramble ramble..

And no that wasn't aimed at you, it was just aimed at teens in general.. as a warning.. uhh. so I guess it was aimed your way.. hmm..

on the flip side that Bubble Bobble ring is pretty catchy :)

OMG they have Zak Mckracken! It doesn't sound very good, but I'm still impressed that it's even there.

Bubble Bobble sounds great though (just the theme, the intro sounds terrible).

Too bad I don't own a Nokia phone.

And just for the record, I agree with Raedon about cell phone culture, but I don't think there's anything wrong with owning a cell phone. My plan only has 20 free minutes, and I've only gone over that twice. However, I'm definitely glad I had it those 2 times!

People on cell phones driving...... don't get me started. I have a new game I like to play. When I pull up to a light beside someone talking on a cell phone, all of a sudden I have an urge that I just can't control and lay it on the horn, see how long they stay on their phone then! We should turn this into a game, see how long people actually stay on their phone. Am I provoking road rage.....probably, but oh well. Or I can turn the table, they provoked me proving they just don't understand that driving is a privilege and not a right, one that should be taken serious. They are the one willing put their life and more importantly the life of those of the people around them in danger. Too many people are already poor drivers, then you attach this idiot box to the side of their face and they lose the little common sense they might have had.

Is this worthy of a game amongst us?

Yeah, the constant cell phone chatter drives me insane. I used to be a newspaper reporter people. It was *imperitive* that I stay in constant contact withg the newsroom. However, I never had a cell phone, nor did I have a beeper. Why? 'Cause if I wsn't at home, in the office, or on assignment, I didn't need to be bothered, did I? So, I avoided owning any of these anchors.

However, I'm addicted to the Internet and check my e-mail constantly. So, I can't throw aspersions to those who can't go more than 15 minutes without yapping on a cell phone.

Oh, and Kess? Cool linkage buddy. Thanks for pointing this out to us.
