So much for timely updates! Deciding to convert the site to CSS wasn't one of my brightest ideas. But besides taking way too long, I hope you'll enjoy the slightly nicer font treatments on Le geek, as well as the new PS1 reviews by yours truly and the Atari 2600 reviews generously donated by Chris Federico.

MARCH 2006 UPDATE
http://abscape.org/legeek

Wow, has it really been since June that I had a proper update other than making Neo-Geo inserts?

Eric Ruck reviews Gaiares, Rocket Knight Adventures & Toki for the Genesis, while I review League Bowling & Metal Slug for the Neo-Geo as well as Picture Puzzle for the Neo-Geo Pocket Color.

In Features, I finally added the transcription of Atarian's second issue—the ill-fated Atari propaganda rag of the late 80s. The first issue has been fleshed out as well. Look for the third and final issue sometime in the future...

Most Wanted is a new feature, tracking the top ten most wanted games of Eric and myself. See if our taste in games matches yours! A bit "weak sauce" really, but it will be updated quarterly...

Finally, two new Full Frontal Shock Boxes are available, Last Resort & Magical Drop III.

Feedback is always welcome! I hope to get back to updating quarterly...

Cheers,
Ben

JULY 2006 UPDATE
http://abscape.org/legeek

Eric reviews Me & My Katamari for PSP & Ristar on the Game Gear, while Ben reviews three games with abnormally long titles: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PSOne), Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (GBA) and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

Most Wanted also gets an update, with a list of what games our editors are excited about after this year's E3.

Several Shock Box Inserts are coming soon including Shock Troopers and a brand new Waku Waku 7. I will be retiring or updating the following inserts in a couple of weeks so grab them now: Blue's Journey, Magical Drop 2, Ragnagard, Samurai Shodown II and Waku Waku 7.

Feedback is always welcome!

Cheers,
Ben

Very nice design. It's actually easy to find everything and you have quite a bit of content.

I was about to yell at you for your review of League Bowling until I realized "Hey, maybe the scores are out of 5 instead of out of 10" LOL

NOVEMBER 2006 UPDATE
http://abscape.org/legeek

Well it's later than I'd like, but we're still on track for quarterly updates. Hopefully the next update will be more timely and feature more than four reviews...

This month, Eric reviews Missile Command for the 2600 and Bomberman on Turbo Grafx. Ben reviews Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow on DS and God of War on PS2.

In shock boxes, another Neo-Geo game gets the full frontal insert treatment: Neo Mr. DO!

Most Wanted also gets an update, with a list of not yet released games that our editors are most excited about.

Cheers!

le geek updates for Spring 2008 and we actually have a bona fide retro issue!

Eric reviews ALF on the Master System and a bunch of Sega CD games: Android Assault, Blackhole Assault, Microcosm and Ultraverse Prime.

I review Barnstorming, Chopper Command, Dragster and Robot Tank on the Atari 2600. River Raid and Seaquest get a second look, and I also finally got around to beating Halo: Combat Evolved.

Hi there,

I and my buddy Eric, review games on occasion on my self named site.
http://www.abscape.org/legeek

This month, I review Frogger and Discs of Tron on XBLA and Beautiful Katamari on 360, and Eric reviews Submarine Attack and Trivial Pursuit on Sega Master System.

I'd love to get your comments, particularly on Katamari, since it gets lumped into "jumped the shark" series like Viewtiful Joe and Warioware...

Cheers,
Ben

Cheers,
Ben
