Turtles on the Odyssey 2 is easily my favorite O2 game, and it's probably one of my favorite Pac-Man style titles of all time. I knew it was an arcade game, but until recently I thought the O2/G7000 version was the only home port. But it turns out it was ported to the TVG-2000 (Emerson Arcadia 2001 clone), Tomy Tutor/Pyuuta, and the PC-6001! Has anybody played any of the other versions? Are they better enough than the Odyssey 2 version to be worth hunting down?

Here are some screenshots I found:

And the PC-6001 version...

What about on Adventurevision?
There's screenshots in the rarity database.

Huh! I had no idea there was an Adventurevision port. I've got to imagine that version is pretty crude. But I guess Turpin isn't a very sophisticated game, so maybe it could pull it off...

I had the Odyssey version of Turtles, and hands down, it was my favorite game on the whole system. I vaguely remember playing a clone on my c64, and I play it w/MAME every now and then, but I was always partial to the O2 version.

You're right, there is something more satisfying about the O2 version. Maybe the fact that it's a rare game and also quite impressive for such a limited system that makes it more fun than playing the MAME version. Also, it's one of the few games that seems to work really, really well with the O2 joystick.
