Seems that Sega's all lovey-dovey with Sammy for a new console, according to this forum post. I apologize in advance if an ad comes up before the page does.

Now, before everyone freaks out and rolls their eyes and wants to kill me, I know this is total horseshit, but one can only hope... right? :D

To me, The Holographic Versatile Disc rumor is the icing on the cake. Sounds nice. To bad, it just won't happen. Or if it does, it won't have the Sega brand name on it - just Sammy's. Even if Sega created a console, they wouldn't put their name on it for obvious reasons.

Any thoughts??

I can't wait until HVDs become viable for consumers. BluRay and HDDVD don't seem nearly as appealing after reading some papers on HVDs :(

Didn't play Sonic Rush I see.

Nevertheless, Shadow wasn't nearly as bad as some reviewers said it was. Famitsu gave it a 31/40, which I find to be a fairly respectable review. But, what do I know?

Anyways, people might think Sega is in a rut, but they're making dough.
