View Full Version : Wat would you do if you were in my shoes!!

As many of you know my xbox360 died on 25th December.. I updated the old thread... anyways here is wats going on!
I called MS on the 26 and they said that they will send me a box, I will have to send them my Powersupply and the console with hard drive. The Rep tells me that the people in canada only get *BRAND NEW Replacement units*
so on 29th I recieve the box and wat do you know its the wrong box. It can only fit the console in no room for the powersupply. I call up MS and they said that I only need to send in the console now, and the rep on the phone cancelled the Ticket Number.. its a mystery why he cancelled it.
So I send in my console and MS recieves it on the 4th of Jan. I changed it online with the Purolator tracking number.
anyways I waited for days and there is no update and I call MS. I talk to a supervisor she tells me that the console has been sitting there and no one did anything because the ticker is cancelled!!!
so she fixes it for me and tells me that I will have a console by Tuesday the 10th. Anyways nothing happend and I call them up again yesterday, ..sorry we can't say anything but the service center is really busy and we will send you your xbox ASAP.
Firday morning, Purolator shows up and I am all excited up, boom its a box and I start dancing, anyways I open up the console and wat do you know, I have a scratched up Premium console........most likely refurbished but..........wats the surprise ? THE HARD DRIVE IS MISSING!!!!
and then I came here and wrote this.
Anyadvise on wat I should do ? I have talked to 7 different people and this is wat I have now.. a scratched up console and if you remember my mini collection pics you will know that I take care of my stuff and most of the stuff is wrapped to prevent SCRATCHES .....
Should I call MS and ask them wat the hell happened or just go out and buy a hard drive ?

I think you deserve a brand new system. Don't screwed by those so called tech people. Get your stuff handled, and do what ever is nessesary, and what ever it takes to get your item. If I were in your shoe's, they would be recieving a call form me daily...

Definitely and I would be speaking with managers when I called. Don't allow yourself to be victimized.

Thanks. I don't understand how they can send me a premium console without the hard drive!!!! even when I sent in mine!

Which is exactly what you need to be telling them and not me. If they start giving you the run around get a bit nasty. Tell them look, I'm a freaking customer and your system crapped out on me. I sent it in as advised, and you sent me a used peace of trash! I demand to speak to someone in charge, because I didn't pay close to 500 bucks for this!
Etc etc so on, and trust me they will be sending you a nice new system to get you off their balls. They should remember your name by the time this is over, and dread ever recieving a call from you again.

But in all seriousness, call them up again, and BE AGRESSIVE.
Let them know that it was their fault and that you demand to get what you rightfulyl deserve, a working clean system and the hard drive that you sent them. DO not accept any compromise!

Be very aggressive don't take "no" for an answer, and if all else fails, let them know you will be in touch with the Better Business Beaureu, that tends to work some times.

Yea, what everyone said...I wouldn't have even asked for advice. It is obvious what you have to do. You need to keep calling and getting the highest up person you can on the phone and don't give up until you get a new, complete premium console on your door step....and demand next day air as well as a credit to your live account (if you have one) since you paid for all these days that you are loosing.....

I called MS and they said that they will EXCHANGE my unit. I got the box and sent them in my unit today. who knows when I will get a new one. I specifically asked them to send me a new unit if not just send me my non working unit. If MS screws up again I am just going to the local news like someone advised. Its the 17th today and I am without an xbox since the 25th... how much patience can a person stand ? I havn't yellled or raised my voice to anyone when I talked to them on the phone!

I'm not, and that's what I got out of your story too:
