My friend's got a problem with his toaster NES. It refuses to turn on when he pushes power. He says it was working fine a couple of days ago. The electrical wall socket where the AC adapter is plugged in works fine, and the adapter itself heats up after it's been left in there awhile.
Does anybody have any troubleshooting or repair advice for him? Thanks in advance!

Disassemble it and test cable continuity with a meter. Or test with an alternate AC.

Thanks for the tip. Fortunately, I think he won't need to...he miraculously fixed it himself. (???)
Thanks so much for your help!

Hmm I have one like this also, but it works for more then 5 mins.
Anyone ever figure this one out?
