I knew these were rare, but I am a little surprised at the price. I only know of a handfull aside from the one I have. They were given to Nintendo's Authorized Repair Centers, much like the other NES and SNES test carts. I think the N64 version is at least somewhat more difficult to find. Anyway, the price is a little more than I expected, but it sure makes my happy I have one... :D

Cool, never seen one of those before.
But as the auction description says, if the light turns red you need to change the mobo. Is this really the only function it has? What other problems can a N64 have, except AC adapter problems, but those are replaceable.
Really dont see how they could have much use for this cart when testing. If the mobo was broken it must be cheaper to get a new N64 than just to change the mobo.

jdchess: The first one always goes for a lot. Even the NES test carts (yellow) went for $300+ at one time. Does not mean they stay that way.

I think these are much more uncommon than test carts for any other systems, as N64's are built better than tanks.

Less then 30 minutes to go and on $402.01,high rpice for a testcart.

Edit: ended on $402.01.

Like I said...I only know of four total. I have one and I know two people that have them, plus the one that just sold on eBay. I agree that they appear to be much more uncommon than the NES and SNES versions.

So according to the guy selling the Sega blockbuster cart since there are 4 of them it has to be worth $2,500.00 LOL

Nice item. I hope to be bidding on the next one that pops up.

Maybe but this got bit of extra hype in the Nicola thread as well as here. Sometimes none of that matters I mean as long as there's hype.
