View Full Version : Why don't we have a DP Mario Kart DS tournament?

Have everyone who has listed there friend code divided into certain brackets depending on rank/wins you have, and go from there. The winner of each bracket fights the winner of the next braket. Times, and dates for events can be choose by the two racers prior to the match. We could have meseta as prise money, and possible have the mods creat a special trophy for the winner.
I think it could work.

It might be possible, yet Mario Kart DS has horrible structure for tournaments. You would have to delete everyone from your friend list ( or make sure they werent online) except your opponent.
Sounds complicated :)

Yeah it's not user friendly. Setting up a tourney requires structure and based on how the system works the only way to do it is in person. Online it would be next to impossible with out going to the lengths expressed above.

Actually, you can turn your friends on and off at will. Just turn everyone off except the person you wanna play, then turn them back on when the race is done. They won't be deleted.

I was not aware of that. Still, I think it would be very complicated.
