Favorite Colossus to Battle in SOTC

Hey guys I'm playing through Shadow of the Colossus at the moment and I want to know what was your favorite Colossi to battle?

So far my favorite battle was with the 3rd Colossus:

The battle with this Colossus was epic and you really felt the size of the Colossi, which is why I would consider it the best battle.

I just finished defeating the eleventh Colossi and I thought that it was pretty anti-climatic. All the proceeding Colossi had been enormous and extremely difficult to defeat, but the bull Colossi was easily defeated and did not seem as marveling as the proceeding Colossi.

So which Colossi was your favorite to battle?

Same here the 3rd was great.

I want to murder #3 because in hard time attack they only give you FIVE !@#$ING minutes to do it, with an extra weak spot on his right arm. That one and the one in the huge lake are the only two hard time attacks I can't finish.

As for my favorite battle, I'd say the one that's kind of like a small dog. You gotta continuously climb up these huge pillars as it's trying to ram you down and I love jumping to the next closest pillar as the one you're on is plummeting to the ground. The ending's also kind of hilarious because I always jump on this pillar blocking the exit after his armor is broken, and when I jump on his back and grab on, he gets stuck there, lol. It's kinda sad just stabbing him to death over and over and there's no where he can run to.

#3 as well, just a great fight. It was Also the first colossi I found a picture of on the internet, as well as a video. The video made my jaw drop.

I haven't finished this yet, but my favorite thus far was #5 (I think I have the number right) - the flying one. That was one of the most exhilarating gaming experiences I've ever had.

The flying "Wind Snake" i was so amazed i just stared at it for 20 min before fighting it. And i did feel bad after it died.

Haven't finished the game yet.. up to the 14th Colossus, but the 13th was my favorite so far. I did not want that fight to end.

Colossus Number 5 - The Bat

#2 was probably my favorite, simply because it was the first new colossus to play since the demo. Not only that but the song for the battle as well as the area was awsome. Next to him would be the one in the colosseum that peeks through the bottom trying to find you (that really suprised me).

The one that -hellvin- is talking about is one of my favorites. It's so much different than all the others.

Really, the last one is easily the most impressive out of them all, just due to the scope of it.

Most fun though, probably the one that -hellvin- mentioned with all the pillars, the second flying one, and the third one.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the final Colossi yet, the pure size of him singles him out as one of the best. Personally it's not the most thrilling, but knowing something so small can kill something so big is so cool.

Also the flying creature in the desert was crazy too, I think it was the only boss you had to use your horse, wasn't it?

The worst was easily the horse where you had to go through the caves.

The one with the huge beard was my favorite. It was so amazing to climb up that giant beard and really felt realistic.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the last guy too, very adventure-game like to have to figure out what to stab/shoot to get to the next piece of his body.

The worst was easily the horse where you had to go through the caves.

I'm currently stuck on this one (and am frustrated), so I'm glad to hear that people think it's the worst. I've tried numerous times, but simply can not get that damn thing to look into the cave.

#3 was indeed cool. I'm also looking forward to the bat. :)

Yeah it really didn't make sense to me. I knew when playing it that it was obvious you had to do something with the caves but the problem is he rarely does what he's supposed to when you enter one trying to trick him. He's really easy to bring down though so you'll be alright, I was just super pissed when I fell after I finally got on his back. LOL

Don't worry it all goes up from there.
