...after having auctioned off my VCS collection of nearly 300 titles (90 % boxed) for $2100 in 2003, I am glad to say that I am back re-collecting for my first and favorite system.

Well, I kept my original X-Man anyway, got 'Strawberry Shortcake' (unboxed) and Xonox Double-enders (boxed) so far...now I just won 'Amidar' and 'Popeye', both boxed. I also see 'Tutankham' and 'Super Cobra' going cheap right now on ebay, so I keep an eye on it.

Will I ever get the collection I had collected from 1984 to 1999? I don't think so as some titles have become really rare, I had Waterworld, Quadrun, Crazy Climber, Bumper Bash, Atari Video Cube, Rubik's Cube, Boing! (boxed), Frogger II Threeedeep (boxed) All Spectravision boxed, all 'Best' prototypes, Compumate, Space Age Stick, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw..., Amiga carts, Smurf cart and tapes, and many many more.

I still got all pictures, I might post them in my Room of Doom under 'missing'.........

I couldn't imagine selling everything and starting over 3 years later.

See this is always why I tell people don't trade or sell games you don't have 2 of.

Why did you sell it.

I sold off all of my atari stuff, 3 console and 79 games for $160, but the guy never sent his address. I tried for like 6 months to contact the guy but he never responded. free money :)

And the guy who won my auction is trying to sell the games single.

plus two more with the Parker Bros corner-cut box.

Why did I sell it?
Needed the money at the time....

Welcome back to the One True Faith. And best of luck restoring a collection like what you described to the same level of glory. I went through a similar rebuilding effort with a wargame/rpg (non-video) collection that was lost/taken away. It took years to get to get to a point where I could say I was content with it, but it never got back to 100% of what it was.

If you decide to settle for loose carts shoot me a PM sometime as I've got a couple dozen duplicates. Maybe you can use them for tradebait if nothing else.

Well thanks a lot for that offer, Pantechnicon, I might take you up on that in the future.
I put up some pictures of my EX VCS COLLECTION on photobucket, for me it is a bad reminder...

Hello Tom,
I might have some old Atari games kicking around. I will have a look, if I find them I will let you know. I am looking for Playstation games, maybe we can make a deal.
