View Full Version : Do you have friend who think the PS2 is graphically better
I have a friend who I haven't spoke to in 5 years. We went over to my house and played some Resident Evil for the Cube. When I told him he could get it for the PS2 he said "I wonder how much better the graphics are gonna look on the PS2". I told him, "why don't you buy it and tell me".
So does anyone have any of these friends? :D

And if your 'friends' don't know that NITNENDO IS THE BEST COMPANY EVER then they're not really your friends, right? :hmm:

Okay, let me rephrase this. This friend of mine told me had researched every console. I guess I should have added this to the original post. I still think the PS2 is the best system to get for it's games. Finally this question is not only for PS2 vs GC it's also for PS2 vs Xbox.
PS. What's all this about them not really being my friend? Nice title by the way.

If you'd have posted it just like you did there, I wouldn't have misinterpreted your post as another one of those 'omg nintendo is so great' posts. While I agree of the PS2's graphical inferiority, I have no friends or acquaintances that think it's the best.

I knew someone who thought that, said everyday that Xbox and Gamecube were horrible and it pissed me off.

Its all about the games :D
the Gamecube and Xbox have games that look great and they have some that look not soo good same with the PS2.
I have a friend that preffered the PS2 over all the others even when I showed him Halo on Xbox and RE4 on Gamecube and to be honest after having all the current gen systems the PS2 finally won me over , Hell where else can I play the complete Metal Gear Solid series, Silent Hill series AND RE4 (and the classic REs) , the Devil May Cry series, Ratchet and Clank series and the Final Fantasies and the majority of the best RPGS on ONE system.
Like I stated before: ITS ALL ABOUT THE GAMES and the PS2 has those in spades -the complete PSone library AND the PS2 library that still has some AAA titles to be released such as FF12, BLACK (also on XBOX), MGS3: subsistance and supposedly God of War 2 to name just a few.
Graphically I dont care wich system (including the upcoming next-gen systems) has a few more polygons here or there and it seems Im not alone in that opinion as there are over 90 Million PS2 users out there who chose the PS2 over the GRAPHICAL POWERS of both the Gamecube and Xbox 1 for ONE reason the large variety of GAMES that were available on the Playstation 2.
Only the geekiest of tech geeks care if Leons hair is shiney(r) on the Gamecube than the PS2 :roll:

He's now working in the room next to me so we talk a lot. Simple as that. We've caught up on a lot of stuff.
