Hoping that the collection of experts and veteran collectors can lend some insight into what the TOP TEN RAREST GAMES for this system.

I know that the guide is a helpful tool, and I also realize that the order would be somewhat subjective. However, there should be some concensus on what the games are (give or take one or two on the list).

This would be most helpful to us "newbies" or inexperienced collectors.

Price information (while nice to have) is not what I am looking to generate info about - just what the games are.

This is helpful to know, just because I want to know what games I will be pulling my hair out in trying to find!!

Thanks, Steve

Tank Command is easily the rarest 7800 game. Below that, I would guess...

Water Ski, Planet Smashers, Double Dragon, Rampage, are all on there for sure. I'd also list the NTSC releases of Sentinel and Klax, but those are modern releases so I don't know.

Tank command obviously is the rarest game

Cool - great start guys!

Obviously we have a first place winner on the rarity scale, let's see what else we can come up with.

I have noticed an interest in Ikari Warriors - what's up with that? Difficult to find, or just fun?

Actually I'd almost say Mean 18 on NTSC was the hardest game to find. Certainly I know more 7800 collectors who still need that than Tank Command

My personal selection would be these... if no format specified, game was NTSC only...

Rampage
Tank Command
Water Ski
Mean 18 (NTSC)
Ikari Warriors (NTSC)
Dark Chambers (PAL)
Pete Rose Baseball (PAL)
F18 Hornet (PAL)
Alien Brigade (NTSC)
Mario Brothers (PAL)

It is a little baffling how the distribution went regarding PAL and NTSC versions. Mean 18 is utter Combat-style common on PAL yet practically impossible to find on NTSC. Likewise Dark Chambers is incredibly hard to find on PAL.
