Does anybody remember this game??

I remember playing the crap out of it. It was a space game where you colonized asteroids and mined the ore to purchase defense systems against competing companies. I think the company you worked for was tetra corp, or something like that.

It had a bunch of cool little features like sending spies to other planets to sabotage defenses and different missle that would do various damage.

The only thing that was bad was it wasn't goal oriented where you completed a task then had another. It just keep going until someone attacked you or you attacked them.

Does anyone remember it or if there is something similar(a sequel maybe)??

I don't think it is star control. It was a PC game at least 7 years or more ago.

Was this a relatively recent game? I recall my friend playing a strategy game where you built stuff on asteroids. This was in the Warcraft 2/ Diablo era of the mid 90s.

It was right around that time frame. I would say 7-10 years old at this point. It probably on the shelves for a while

Well, I was thinking Perimiter. But thats too recent.

But I think the game you were referring to is called "Fragile Allegiance" by Gremlin/Interplay

it came out in 1996.

I'm pretty sure Fragile Alliance is the one my friend used to play.

Yep. Thats it!! It was a great game to play. Give it a try if you get the chance. I think I will try to find my old copy, if I still even have it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for games similar to this game. I imagine there has to be something close to it??
