I've actually still got that very issue of the Timex-Sinclair User magazine. Very cool. People laugh at the TS-1000 but you'd be surprised how many add-ons were available for it.

Pretty neat,
I like the German Commodore ads, as Commodore was huge in Germany.
The Ventura ad is neat too, I still got that Ventura on 12 (I think) 5 1/4 " discs.

It's always funny to see what these ads show people doing with their computers. "HOME ENERY USE" graphs... yeah, right.

LOL, I thought the exact same thing. Seriously, has anyone ever done anything business related on an 8 bit machine other than word processing and, er, spreadsheeting?
