There are so many movie video games that have come out on past systems that either were just plain sad, or seriously lacked in more than a few areas of gameplay.
What is your pick for a game you'd like to see have a second shot at life on a newer console?
My vote would be for Friday the 13th for the NES, I'd like to see someone really tackle this and play from an angle of a counsler or even Jason, I wouldn't be opposed to either
and with the graphics that they have now, they would be more than able to set the mood for a really awesome "survial horror-esque" game.

Indiana Jones; any of them. Temple of Doom on the NES is actually a very good game, very very hard, but very good. But, it would so freakin awesome to see it remade on the Revolution or PS3 :eek 2:
Also, Willow. Now, the NES Willow is a spectacular game. Probably the best movie-to-game conversion I have ever played. Sure, they added in a little extra story, but it made it that much more interesting. This would be awesome to see a remake for.

I would like some Japanese style dating sims based on the novels of Jane Austen. Either that or Nightmare on Elm Street.

Alf on the Sega Master System.
Hitting bats with a log of Salami ever been as poignant as it would be today.

not all really movie choices but that's fine by me,
I never played the Nightmare on Elm Street game for NES, and I don't know if they made another one for a different system, but I'm sure they have the kind of capabilities to make a really good NOES game.
I remember seeing that they tried to make a Hellraiser game for NES, and I've seen screen shots of it, but as far as I know it was never released at all, I think a Hellraiser game that stood out on it's own would add freshness to a series that in my opinion has fallen off the chart.
