My mate has asked me to ask you guys if you can recognise this game. Here's the description
"A wee blonde guy with a purple dog that could turn into-things. At one point you fly through a vaccum with bagpipes and hang off grass at one point that says "grab me"!
Thanks dudes

Any idea what system it's for? Dunno why, but the description makes me think Amiga or some other home computer rather than a console game... :/

I'm guessing it's either a Spectrum or C-64 game; like everyone else, I have NO idea...

Sleepwalker? (http://www.atari.st/view.php?id=1541)
The Dog's not purple (at least as far as I've played) and I haven't seen it turn into anything, but the guy is blonde... ;)

I am pretty sure it is Torin's Passage. Check these screens out and see if they match.

Wow, it's an Al Lowe game, and requires a 75MHz machine else you get slowdown! Looks cool.

Was Torin's Passage any good? Is it Point & Clicky like KQ7?

No word as to whether it's clicky or not that I can see, but I assume it is.

I played this years back, and it is very similar to the Black Cauldron, also programmed by Al Lowe. I don't remember if it was point and click or used hot keys, but you could view your items in 3D. Wow. 8-)

I have to admit, after reading the original post I had wondered if someone wasn't pulling our leg a bit. ;)

Wow...how strange. I just recently found a complete copy of this at my local bookman's and now a thread pops up about it.

I've never played it before, but I clearly remember when it came out and reading the box when I saw it at Computer City oh so long ago. It sounds like one hell of a trippy game from your description. Should be a fun one to try out ;D.
