Congrats you must be proud. I would recommend the Hello Kitty game for her.

Congrats to your daughter! I think it was either Super Mario Bros. 3 or Chip N' Dale's Rescue Rangers on the NES for me. Don't remember how old I was, though.

Actually for a 4 year old that would be pretty impressive, adult content aside.
Stonecutter: And congrats for your little one's big acomplishment.

Thanks everyone, she was also quite proud, it was a pleasure to see. I am not sure what her next undertaking will be.
As many of you have noted, it helps recall great trips down memory lane. Sadly I cannot recall what the first game I beat was. My first system was a Coleco Gemeni when it was out, so it would have been an Atari 2600 game. Maybe some time it will come back to me.

Nice, my almost 4 yr old girls play a bunch of GB and nintendogs but they haven't achieved the patience to complete a game yet.

That was the first game I beat also!
I think I was around 5.
Anyway, it's cool that Stonecutter's daughter beat a game. I look forward to the day that I have a child that, not only plays games, but beats them...
