i wasnt sure if this was off topic or ebay.. but i was wondering what other sellers stories were when it came to way out there buyers.. ive only been selling for a couple months, but so far ive had one guy buy a gp32 from me - who first of all told me he was having a problem finding a gp32 system (i was selling mine with two cards) and when the package arrives, if the cards dont work-can he get a refund on them-cause he only wants the system and can buy the cards cheaper elsewhere..then let me know that if i wanted the package insured ID be free to pay for it.. after the package was sent out-the let me know he wanted it for his birthday... and since the mail is done electronically-can i call usps and upgrade it (out of my pocket im sure..) so he can get it faster.. he obviouslly didnt apreciate the fact that i payed 2.00 out of my pocket due to underquoting him on shipping... and i kid you not from the day the auction ended to the day it arrived at this house i recieved a email asking "when its gonna get here??" it reminded me of a kid who sent away for a cereal prize asking the mailman the same thing everyday..

another guy bought a 360 off me- it included free fedex shipping, and that thing weighs close to 18 pounds unpacked.. anyway- i sent the gift reciept with it due to my credit card info being on the other reciept- when he gets it hes pretty unhappy, and threatens to "take it to ebay" if i dont give him the original... i thought gift reciepts were the same thing as regular reciepts except they have all the info taken off... anyway- i send the guy the reciept with my cc info taken off.. just to be a good seller and hes still mad! sometimes keeping your cool with buyers is hard! :-)
does anyone else have storeies of freaky buyers?? or even weird sellers??

Ebay has a hyperlink "report this email". When buyers harass with 3,4,5 emails- I click it and report them. Maybe a slap will make them stop being pains in the *****

They are. I'd repy - Go ahead-complain to ebay. Or paypal. I have done nothing wrong. And they'll tell you the same.

I hate delaying liars. Sold a game in November and waited a week. Asked the buyer what's up. "Sorry my paypal was hijacked by a Hong Kong pirate. Will pay within a week." ME- "Okay- I need payment. Can you send a check or money order?" (silence) ME- "I'm opening a dispute. Prove your account was stolen or mail a check. Respond please"

(silence)

DAY 20 SINCE AUCTION/DAY 7 OF THE DISPUTE

BUYER: "I'm sorry. I will pay your fees. I just put $3.00 cash in the mail."

I waited. The cash never arrived. Gave him his Second Strike. One more & this lying bastiche will be gone!!! Never bothered to give him a negative 'cause he'd just retaliate & harm my Seller ID.

Saying his account was hijacked by a Hong Kong pirate. Pretty inventive. I bet he's crazy. LOL

I had a transaction with a female seller like maybe oh, 7 months ago. Maybe 6. Anyway, I always write a little hand-written note and stick it in the envelope... with a money order stuffed inbetween the folded piece of paper.

Well, on my Pos. FB from her on my eBay name is the following:

"Very fast and great buyer. Sexy hand writing too"

I was like X_x when I read that, LOL
