Im starting a History of Video Games Podcast...I'd like it to really end up going in depth with specific consoles so that people can really get some background...in any case, the podcast is on iTunes Music store (only searchable right now) and is called Bits of History...you can also visit the site @
student.washington.edu/nob

the following link will also directly subscribe you to the podcast:

Can you post a link to the mp3 for those of us that would just like to listen rather then go through all the stupid "podcast" hoops.

thanks, it's good to be back in the console niche again...I've got high hopes for the podcast. I'll probably end up having to sell my collection after I finish the series though.

Hey, just listened to the first two episodes so to speak and thought they were pretty good. That picture of Bushnell you have in there is great!

I was thinking about doing something similar myself, but youve saved me the cost of a usb microphone LOL

Nice work man, keep it up.

Where did that definition of a console come from?

about two years ago, myself and I'd say the better part of 2 dozen collectors put together the definition and list of 70 unqiue consoles. Truthfully, the definition is not fact. The line is very blurred and seems to be ever so dependent on the person. The definition I gave in the podcast is the definition I was, and will be, using when I refer to a console. Please dont take it as the gospel, but I think its a strong definition of a console to seperate from the systems.

thanks, go DAWGS and go Seahawks, we have the playoff game on sunday...here's hopin'. As for the music, I had a guy make me a great retro gaming "score" for it, but he wanted too much money for me to use it (as in more than zero), so I just mixed my own.
