The orange ones were made by American Laser Games.

Yes.. but American Laser Games DIDN'T make a gun for the SNES, as all of it's games were CD based (i.e. Sega CD or 3DO). So it has to be a gun for either of those systems. I have both and there are tiny stickers on each one when they are "intact" denoting the system. Look at the plug; BOTH the 3DO and the Genesis have the same kind of plugs (though the "pin-out" for each is different.. so..) you can't use a SCD gun on a 3DO or vice-versa.. and DON'T try! (Trust me. :( ). If you have yourself a 3DO ALG gun.. rejoice.. because they ARE worth some bucks. If it's a Genny ALG gun.. although MUCH harder to find than a 3DO one.. they are worth nowhere near as much.

There were both blue and orange (wasn't it pink?) guns made for Lethal Enforcers by Konami.

Yes.. the Konami Justifier came in blue and pink (no orange). The Blue one is for single players (most common) and the pink one was for a 2nd player.
Just FYI.. there were also two versions of the orange ALG gun.. they were both orange but the 2nd player one plugged into the grip of the first gun with a "phone jack" type plug. (I think that's also how the Justifiers worked but I can't be sure as all of my guns are stored away.
I've never seen a pink 2nd player gun for the SNES either.. come to think of it. I have a Genesis model.

There wasn't an orange SNES gun (At least not one made by ALG).. that's what I'm trying to say. The orange ALG "revolver" was strictly for ALG games; like Mad Dog McCree and Who Shot Johnny Rock?; etc. These games were FMV games and CD based. There is NO way one can play a CD on a Super Nintendo; hence.. no ALG gun made for it.
Having said that.. I'd like to see a picture of this gun and the end plug configuration.. if possible.

isnt the konami player 2 snes gun the same as the player 2 genny gun? i read somewhere they were both made with the phone type cord so the warehouse could just ship it off without having to keep track of the separate systems as they were ordered.
if im not mistaken they are the same and both work for either system

I think so, however I would say it is clearly a pink gun. At least all of the ones I have seen are.

the player 2 pink gun has a phone cord connector that can be connected to any of the 3 blue guns (SCD, GENESIS, SNES).

That's really weird when I think about it. I mean what would anybody want to use an ALG gun on an SNES for? There were no ALG games released for the SNES and as far as I remember ALG guns only worked on their games (except for a few other Digital Pictures FMV games like "Corpse Killers"). It would be interesting to try this gun with the adaptors on one of the Konami carts for the SNES and see if they work.. may have just discovered another use for this gun.

I don't know who made the orange gun, but it can be used for certain light gun games on the SNES. Probably the Lethal Enforcers games. I have an orange gun, but I don't have the SNES converter. I have seen the SNES converter, though. My orange gun also doesn't have the phone jack on the bottom.
I have an offical Genesis player 1 blue Justifier gun with the phone jack and an official player 2 pink Justifier gun with the phone cable. The pink one daisy chains into the blue one.
I think my pink gun's broken, though. It's not very accurate, no matter what I do. I've thought of transplanting the vital barrel parts from my orange gun into my pink gun. That might work, but I'd have to open them up and have a look, and then there's still no guarantee it would work.

I actually have that same gun. I bought this bundle called the "Shooter Series" which included the Orange gun (modeled after the Konami genesis) with the Genesis to SNES adapter and a game. The game included was Battleclash, but the back of the bundle packaging showed Yoshi's Safari and Metal Combat along with Battleclash as other available bundles.
This was purchased back in the late 90's at my local Wal-Mart after the release of the Nintendo 64.
This IS NOT the orange NES Zapper mind you, it IS a revolver molded gun modeled after the Blue and Pink revolver Konami light guns for the Sega Genesis. The Phone jack on the bottom of the handle of the gun looks as if it were covered with a piece of plastic.
There is no company on the box of the bundle packaging, however, the Original boxes of the games were also included in the bundle box (Battleclash's original sealed packaging is inside the box) along with the light gun. The bundle retailed at my Wal-Mart for $10. It was the only time I've ever seen such a bundle and when I e-mailed Nintendo after my purchase, they said it wasn't an official bundle of theirs.
I apologize for no photos to go along with this post, I'm currenly typing this from my dorm room in UC Santa Barbara away from home. I do however, have the gun and the original bundle packaging intact in my closet back at home. Hope this information helped some.

BINGO! That's the one. Years ago I tried to use a Genesis pad with the converter it came with to unsuccessful results.

Wow! that DOES look an awful lot like an ALG gun. Maybe that's what they did with all the left over Sega-CD models they had (As ALG games never went over very well on that platform.).
I'll have to dig up my two ALG guns later and compare. Of course, they COULD be former 3DO guns as well. My reasoning being that the 3DO has a plug that looks like a Genesis one and there WAS an adaptor that let you use your SNES controllers on a 3DO.
If.. like someone already said.. they tried the adaptor with a Genny controller and it didn't work.. I suppose the gun could have actually been a 3DO one at one time because SNES & 3DO controllers WERE compatible (with the use of an adapter). Even though the 3DO and Genny had the same plug.. THEY are not compatible (I've talked to a few people who actually fried 3DOs and Gennys that way.. trying.).
If you took one of these guns and plugged it into a 3DO and it worked for games like Mad Dog McCree and Demolition Man then it would be a 3DO gun and you'd have yourself a real and expensive rarity.
Of course.. as I said earlier this is done at your own risk as nobody really knows what may happen when you plug another system's controller into another one's port.

ill compare when i get home tonight. i got one of those 3do guns at a flea a while back. could be the same factory just capitalizing on the gun mold after it was scrapped by ALG. i would think the ALG sticker is kind of important on the gun anyway.

Meh.. mystery solved.
Here's a link to what an ALG gun looks like:
http://cgi.ebay.com/3DO-GAME-GUN-AND-4-SHOOTTER-GAMES_W0QQitemZ8252779498QQcategoryZ49221QQssPageN ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Apparently.. they're not quite the same. The 3DO gun (and SCD) were "smooth" in texture. This gun has a textured grip (butt), also.. the ALG gun had a metal trigger. This gun looks more like an orange Konami Justifier really.

Yup.. that's what it is. Compare the two.. identical except for color.
