Darnell (The Crab Man) was playing an Atari 2600 with the 2 kids. Then he was playing his GBA while 'applying' for a job. LOL
Just wondered if anyone else noticed what game he was playing, they didn't show the TV long enough. It looked like Star Ship or Star Raiders.

Crabman is a Berserk expert. He takes pictures of his high scores on the 2600 and pins them to the wall of the trailer. I love that show.

Some of the throw away quotes are just hillarious.
"Look Earl, everybody's wearing suits! Its just like that part from Bill and Ted where Ted put on the magical sunglasses and saw the matrix!"

Holy crap, I've watched every episode and I never noticed that!
and MrRoboto, I agree. Earl has some of the best one-liners since.... well - Family Guy :D
Randy always gets the funniest lines, IMO. And I love that far-off look he contstantly has on his face.

I thought it was funny that he was playing a GBA but had a GB Color cart in it. How typical.

Earl (PDF) is gonna milk the popularity of the show being associated with his first name for as long as he can :)

I know this is somewhat unrelated, but hey it's classic gaming so why not...I did this for a recent Photoshop contest...

Great show, and I love to see him playing video games, and my wife would probably think I'd be like he is if I could ( which would be kind of funny )

the sounds played on the GBA sound like tetris when you rotate the pieces. Plus its a black color cartridge as well.

Best new show on TV.. Ever notice how bad the hair is on that show? No one has good hair and that has to be hard to pull off..

Okay... My gf recorded it, Thursday night. I watched it again tonight.... It does look like Galaga or some game of that nature... But as the screenshot shows, the VCS is on the cofee table, but Galaga never came out on an Atari system, from my knowledge. I know the one for the VCS is a bootleg of River Raid.
And I also just figured out Darnell is the Office Max 'rubber band man'. Can't believe I never noticed that before.

Galaga never came out on an Atari system
There was a version made for the 7800 (http://www.thelogbook.com/phosphor/atari78/g.html), but still, it's kinda funny if they showed it being played on a 2600 console. :D

About Darnell being the "Rubber Band Man" did anyone notice that he had the same job in the episode? brilliant.
I think he was playing Tetris DX, could be wrong.

No wonder why I never knew about an Atari Galaga - It came out on the 7800! ;)
