View Full Version : FS: Tons of Genesis games

Hey,

A VG collector friend of mine asked me to sell pretty much all of his Genesis/MD games... I planned on throwing them on ebay, but I decided I might as well start here first. I dug through the boxes, but I don't know a whole lot about Genesis games, so I decided to make a list (er... I outsourced that to another friend ;) ). Anyway, these are all Genesis only (not MD yet)... he typed all of the game names, and any problems the carts had (like labels and stuff).

I've also got a box full of manuals and case inserts (should have them for almost all games), but unless noted, they don't have an actual box (or it may have been broken down if cardboard). Also, since there are so many manuals and case inserts to go through (not in any particular order), I won't be able to verify that I have the manual/insert and gather them immediately unless you buy 5 or so games (it'll just take too long otherwise). If you're only looking for one or two games, I'll wait for a few more people looking for a few and find them all while I'm digging. The same goes for pictures... I'd be glad to send pics, but I'm pretty busy, so it may take a little bit.

Anyway, here's the list... feel free to make an offer on any/all of the games... I'll check with my friend and/or the price guide, but he's really not looking to make a killing on the stuff, so send any reasonable offers. I'll be posting a list of a bunch of other stuff some other time :) . For payment, Paypal is fine... or Check/MO (checks will be held until they clear).

Everyone... sorry about the long delay, I sent him an email last week, just finally got an email back last night... apparently he was in Vegas all week (don't I feel sorry for him >_< ).

Anyway, all of the games are still available... he gave me a list of about what he's looking to get for some of the more popular/expensive ones, and the rest should be ~$5 or less. He said if you want a few games, you can knock a few bucks off. Also, international shipping is no problem, and I have a scale so I can give you a quote before shipping.

He also said he's not really looking to just sell the whole lot for someone else to break up and sell individually, he'd rather sell them to people that actually want the games.

The more common/unwanted games will probably go in lots on ebay, maybe this weekend, so let me know asap if there's any cheapy games you'd like so I don't throw them into a lot. I'll also be going through the games sorting out which have inserts and manuals, but AFAIK, most have them.

So, whats the status on those MD games?

vanadium
01-28-2006, 01:35 AM
Curious about any JPN MD games available... since they aren't broken out, I'm not sure what to go on.

DogP

I haven't really dug through the MD games yet, but I asked my friend about them and he told me to just give them back to him and he'll sell them eventually, since there's so many that I won't have a clue about the title (Japanese and stuff).

So right now it's just Genesis games for sale... I'll let you guys know if he posts the MD games on ebay, or if he goes through them, I'll tell him to post them on here.

Would be cool from him to post the MD games here first rather than Evilbay. We must have first dibs on those games ;)

If one of those Megadrive games is European Zero Wing, I want to know how much is wanted for that game. If I think the price is good, it's mine.

Sorry, it's been a long week. I went through all of the Genny stuff and marked what games had what stuff with them. Most are either a flattened box (F) or just the insert to go in the plastic case (I), but some are the complete box (B). There were a few that I know that I saw, but didn't mark them down because they were in a different section and didn't notice them until later (like Beavis and Butthead was under MTV's Beavis and Butthead). Those have probably next to them, since I don't remember whether they were a flattened or insert, and they're not in order with the rest of the known ones.

And I think my PM box was full... I emptied it again, so if I missed any, sorry... send them again (I got one today, so I couldn't have missed too many ;) ).

what does the "X" mean?

marshmannes
02-01-2006, 08:43 PM
Do these games have the instruction manuals?

DogP
02-01-2006, 08:55 PM
Oh... sorry, I pasted it from excel which had them tabbed... it's supposed to be:

Game Box (B) / Flattened Box (F) / Insert (I) ---- Manual (X)

So yeah, if it's B, it's the full box... if it's F, it's a box that was broken down and flattened, if it's I, it's just the insert from the plastic case. If it has an X, that means yes... there is a manual.

DogP

Thanks for the update. I'm really interested in them, since I'm not keen on paying $7/title shipping from Japan right now. If he can make a list of which game is what and have you post it up here, that would be keen. If not, no problem. :)

But please, don't let him go to eBay first!

DogP
02-03-2006, 05:54 PM
Yeah, I'll ask him for a list of MD games and see if he'll let me sell them on here... he's an ebay person... I'd personally rather knock a few bucks off the price than pay ebay fees >_< . He says he's too busy to mess with forums though... with ebay he can just post them and whoever wins is (probably) gonna take it.

BTW, the following games are sold:

Contra Hard Corps
Pete Sampras Tennis
Zany Golf
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
The Incredible Crash Dummies
Toxic Crusaders
Demolition Man
Rock n Roll Racing
Rambo III
Gargoyles
Marsupilami
DJ Boy

How can one tell if it is complete in box?

marshmannes
02-03-2006, 08:47 PM
It has the actual box if it says B or F along with the X.

DogP
02-04-2006, 02:14 AM
Yeah, sorry... my post looks like crap... I pasted it from excel where there were tabs. If it's has a B, it's the full box... if it's F, it's a box that was broken down and flattened... if it's I, it's just the insert from the plastic case. If it has an X, that means there is a manual. I shoulda just made it M for manual, but I didn't want everyone laughing when I had games with B M next to them LOL .

Oh... I forgot to post some pending sales... I'll let you know when they are sold or become available again:

Ghostbusters
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
Splatterhouse 3
Streets of Rage 3
Sunset Riders
