As shitty as the first FF7 movie? It's not a movie, and there's only been one FF7 movie, Advent Children, which has yet to see a release outside of Japan.

EDIT: All those cutscenes look fantastic, both the ones using ingame assets and pre rendered... but I have absolutely no hopes for that gameplay coming off as working.

The gameplay does not look like it is much fun. I will of course reserve judgement though, and would probably play it anyway cause Vincent was my favorite FF7 character.

A Final Fantasy action RPG? Well, you can most certainly count me in. I cant stand RPG's, but action RPG's are a different story. And with Square Enix on its case, I'm actually excited for this. Exited for a FF title. Never though I'd see the day.
