I stopped by the Sears in Bowie, MD today. They had two copies of the GBA NES classics version of Super Mario Brothers. This is the one that for some crackhead reason is going for 50$ is on ebay right now. When I got it rung up they were $3 each! Apparently they had been marked down for a long time, and were just sitting there....
Probably a very YMMV type deal since most places would be sold out by now, but just a heads up to check the local Sears if you have one.

Anyone know why it's so rare now? I just saw a couple of these at Target for 9.99 each.

I just recieved this game in a bundle from ebay yesterday and I was thinking of how bad this game sucked. I don't know it just feels off. The GBC version totally blows it away. Anyway, its 100% complete and I'd go so far to say that its MINT. Very tempting to put it up on eBay, since I have no use for it and I don't like it.

Our Sears is furniture, clothes, shoes, appliances, and hardware related stuff. They have a bit of a toy section, but zilch for video game related items.
I think it could be ordered via the Sears Catalogue, but that's too much of a process simply to make a few bucks off of eBay ;)

Why, god, why?
Who pays that much money for one of the most dirt common games on this planet?

Is a flashcart too big too? Something that would, you know, allow you to put hundreds of NES games on it, movies, pictures, and other shit for $50?

Nintendo is the absolute master at somehow getting people to buy things they already bought 10-15 years ago and still have 3 copies of.
