Man, am I enjoying them. The games I got are Rainbow Six Rouge Spear and Unreal Tournament. Unreal Tournament is really awesome though. It's a hell of a game. :D :-P Hey, maybe I'll hook my dreamcast to a phone line so I can play UT online. All I have to do is get the browser disk. Anyone still play UT online?

I think Sega shut down their online network for Dreamcast.

UT doesn't work online on the DC anymore. Check here for a list of games that do: dreamcast.onlineconsoles.com
Also there are ways with a keyboard to add more then 4 bots to muiltplayer.

Where were you in 2001? I would have kicked your ass up and down in UT. It's almost 5 years since the game came out, and the system has been "dead" (commercially) for around the same period of time. Are you also bummed you can't buy pre-recorded albums on minidisc anymore? Still waiting on the Dreamcast VMU/mp3 player?
I don't mean to be such a curmudgeon, but you can't expect a dead horse to pull a carriage.

Too bad all this support and enthusiasm for the DC wasn't around when it needed it the most...... *_*

Way to show up at the party after the booze is gone & the girls have left... LOL j/k
"Very young"? That was only like 4-5 years ago.
Can we count this year even though we're not very far into it?

Ok, not very young, but I'm turning 13 in November.

When you add more bots though it gets really laggy.

Yeah, I'm as guilty of that as anybody. I just got a Dreamcast right before Christmas at EB for 20 bucks, and right away it was a "Where have you been all my life?" moment. Ah well, don't know what you have until it's gone and all that...

The problem with Sega is, they couldn't hang on and keep a system committed, remember the wya they dumped a lot of games/systems in holiday 2001? guess what, in 2002, many people were looking for new Dreamcast systems, oh-oh, none left, Sega cleared loads of them for $50 a year ago.
Another thing that irked me is how many stellar titles that didn't get ported to US, the list is endless - Guilty Gear, Rainbow Cotton, Culdcept 2, Super Puzzle Fighter, Rez, Fighting Vipers, Vampire Chronicle, plus various shooters and puzzle games. Had Sega kept the Dreamcast running as cult/niche system, the same way it's doing in Japan now, we'd have at least 300 games in the US, and it'd make my collection even more stellar, instead, we get garbage like Death Crimson, Illbleed, The Ring, Carrier.
I'd not post in another thread since it'd turned into hell.

Heyyyy, I liked Carrier. :) As for Death Crimson, Illbleed and The Ring I will have to agree with you. Stay very far away from those. O_O Welcome to the wonderful world of the Dreamcast Segarocks30. ;)

The whole idea of pre-recorded albums on MD was the reason it failed in this country.
Stupid RIAA, if it had been marketed the same way it was in Japan, the format would have taken off here...
But nooooooooo.
