I got this game today for $8 complete at the flea market today and my goodness the gameplay is sooooo deep! I love this game right now. ;) Anyone else love this game?

Great game if you like Shining Force type rpgs.

I like it, but I could never get past the first map. I'd defeat all the enemies, but couldn't go on. This was a long time ago, so I might be able to figure out now.
When I bought the game at release, I loved it. Unfortunately, I was only able to progress to the 3rd map as my saved games kept getting erased accidentally by various people. I recently tried the game again with an emulator but found it pretty boring. :/

Funny. I just found it myself for the same price. Haven't had a chance to try it yet but it seems to have a good rep. Time to break out the Sega CD cable ball..

wow, nice find to as I remember it going for upwards of 30-40 on the Bay last year.
I love Dark Wizard, I think my best game was about 10 hours in on the fifth or sixth map before I lost all patience. That's my problem with strat-rpgs...

I really liked Dark Wizard when it was released. A bit of advice: Turn OFF the battle animations. It's much more enjoyable when you don't have to wait a minute-and-a-half every attack because of load times.

I got it for 5 bucks recentely as well, I did a testplay to make sure it worked and didn't really get into it too much, I'll give it another try one of these days though.
