South Jersey Arcade Auction Pics - 12/03/05

This is a huge freaking delay. Basically, myself, Drexel923, Portnoyd, Achika, and DogP all met up at an arcade auction. It was in a warehouse, and was very freaking cold! Several games went for top dollar, and several eBay resellers were there as well. Achika and Portnoyd walked away with several cabs, DogP found some that needed some TLC and picked those up, and Drexel923 got a slick Neo Cab.

I knoooow ;_; The only time I ever saw it was when Cherry Hill Mall (the mall near my house) had and arcade that closed down in the early 90's when I was but a child.

I still remembered that game though. I'd love to play it again!

Heh... if you're near the Cherry Hill mall, I'm guessing the auction is REALLY close to you :P ... it's at the NJ National Guard Armory building in Cherry Hill. There's gonna be another on the 25th of Feb. (Saturday).

tholly: you still want me to PM you that there's gonna be one two weekends from now? ;)

But yeah... that was a decent auction... typical before Christmas auction where there were a lot of high prices, but I managed to find a few decent deals (no keepers, just fixer-uppers for me to fix and play for a couple months and then sell to recoup my truck rental + some profit). It's always cool hanging out with fellow DPers though.

hey....yea, don't worry about PMing me for this one....I am actually gonna be home for college for the weekend that weekend, but to probably go buy a Flash pinball machine from a guy my dad knows. I got pics of it and it looks pretty good, so I'm going to check that out....so, since I'm going there and am already spending money, I'll have to miss this auction.....but, I'll be at the next one as long as someone lets me know about it and as long as I can get home for it....last semester senior year is pretty busy, especially with senior research presentation at NCUR and Spring break in Florida and all that fun stuff....

...but yea, let me know for the next one.....

This is the last auction in Cherry Hill for the year, at least for US Amusements, but they will be having one in York PA in April... not sure if that's any closer to you... I know it's closer to me :) .

york is like 6 miles closer than cherry hill, but it might be worth it bc i wouldnt pay the $6 toll both ways on the bridge into NJ....(i think thats what i paid)

any pics from the show that occured this past weekend....I was unable to attend bc of a prior commitment to look at a pinball machine (which i decided not to buy)....so i wish i would have been there....

No pics, but overall the auction was pretty typical... no GREAT deals but wasn't all overpriced either.
