Point taken, maybe I should invite everyone over for coffee, but maybe that's just creepy.

South Jersey.

NJ is quite the collecting hot spot.

You are all invited to my place for the next South Jersey Game Night.

Unless you are a goon.

Then how did Chandler ever get in...oh wait...I invited him didn't I. LOL

I'm amazed at the number of posters here that I haven't met in person...between the North and South Jersey meets, there should be no excuse to not come out for gaming nights.

Well, count me in to host a gaming night.... I've been telling Drexel for months!

We should find something to do at my place:

Seriously. I don't even live in Jersey and I still make the jersey game nights!

Can it really be said that any body truly lives in Jersey?

-- West Orange here, btw.

I wouldn't live anywhere else. We have the city nearby, the shore, wide open country, the pines, the mountains...everything within a couple hours. We get all four seasons to the fullest. No earthquakes, tornados, volcanos, etc. And there are classic games, collectors, and gaming events all over the place to boot.

If you're not finding things in NJ you're simply out of the loop. There are gamer gatherings all the time around here. A good time to come out to the store would be at our next NAVA meeting, soon to be announced.

Now try going to a state where there's one game store in your town, and the other is 50 miles away.
It's not so bad in jersey.

Hey, I'm not naming names, I get enough competition from Drexel923 and the guy with the ebay store in Blackwood. ;)

But if you go the length of RT 30 from Haddonfield to Hammonton, you'll come along several of them.

And there is the occasional treasure still to be found at Gamestops and EBs.

I will say, there's not a whole lot in South Jersey...then again, I just got involved here, so I could be misinformed. I live in Collingswood (Camden County), but I go to college at Montclair State U. (5 mins from DP store, that's how I work there :D) and just the DP store alone is better then anything I could go to back home.

What kind of events do you guys do down there? I'd like to come one time when I'm home. ^_^

A few details about the last SJ gathering here

If you're in Collingswood you're in pretty close proximity to "Thrift Village". Years ago there was good stuff to find there, I have not been there in ages.

I was there about 2 months ago, and there wasn't anything that good. I found Mario is Missing for SNES for $2, but that was about it =P
