I'm in the market for two cases - one for my DS and one for my PSP. The problem is, there are so many options and such a minimal amount of reliable information that I'm having difficulty making any kind of decision. So, if any of you DS and or PSP owners could throw some recommendations my way I'd really appreciate it.
Best,

I have a PSP case I'm really happy with that came in one of those "Super Accessory Kits" from Toys R Us. Everything else in the bundle was total crap, but the case is excellent.
As far as the DS goes, there's a first party case that works really well and also comes with Yoshi and Mario plush keychain things (I bought one of these specifically so I could give my fiancee the Yoshi thing, but the case is good too). It has a separate pouch for games...I was able to fit 15 cartridges in it, although it probably wasn't designed to hold that many. LOL

I use a Crown Royal (http://www.greensbeverages.com/spirits/crownbig.jpg) bag for my DS.

Definitely the Logitech case for the PSP (is it Logitech? It's the one you can put your own images in). It worked great for me when I had it

For my DS, I have a Mad Catz hard carrying case. It has a lid with a catch, is fairly solid, well padded (snug fit) and comes with four screen protectors (two for each screen), which are pretty decent.
For my PSPs, I just use the supplied carrying pouches.
But I don't lug my handhelds around with me, so the above may not be suitable - I just wouldn't know.

Hey, if you get a pack of altoids sour gum, and eat or throw out all of the terrible gum, the tiny tin that remains will hold your choice of one gba and two DS games, or, like, eight DS games. That's what I use for those. I don't use a case for the actual system, so I can't really help you there. I can tell you, though, that a Crown Royal bag makes an excellent container for many other things, has a plethora of uses, and would probably be a fantastic DS holder.

I bought a first party case.
Black with a handle that has a rubber grip to it (Nintendo DS) is embroidered on the side. on the inside I have 4 GBA games 5 DS games, plus one of each in the DS which is in the case, it is also holding the AC adapter and an extra stylus, thumb stylus with room for a few more games. It is a soft case, but has survived more than one drop and nearly constant travel. This ran me about $11 at Wal-Mart.

Agreed. The Logitech case is the best, not to mention the best looking PSP case there is. Another plus is that it's widely available (BB, or CC) and is only $19.99.
The best DS cases are the ones from ALS Industries. They're on sale this week at BB. The hold the DS, a few accessories, and have 9 slots for the game discs. I got mine on launch day with my DS and have never seen anything better since.

I bought a Nintendo case for my DS. It slides nicely into the bottom part, and has little pouches to put DS games into, as well as space for an adaptor, headphones, and GBA games.
For my PSP, I bought a Hip Gear case for $5. The PSP slides nicely into one side, and in the other side I keep 3 games in protective sleeves as well as headphones.
A good case is a must have for me - it makes travelling with them *so* much easier, as everything is all together. And of course travelling is what portable consoles are all about :)

yeah so far that case has worked out great for me, considering I dropped it once, and no damage to the case or my PSP,...

I got mine from Circuit City. It's awesome.
In addition to holding the system and my games, it has room for my AC Adapter, a spare stylus, and a couple of GBA games.
I believe they come in different colors. Mine is all black.
I absolutely love it!

Does this case have a name or do you have a link to where it can be purchased online?
