Thought I'd share this e-mail with you.

not a joke or anything scouts honor!
THAT'S RIGHT SIR NOW YOUR/ANYONE'S PLAYSTATION 1 JOYSTICK/PAD CAN NOW BE USED ON MOST ALL PERSONAL COMPUTERS EQUIPPED WITH A STANDARD USB PORT
:-0!!!!!!!!. almost didn't believe it either but there it was right next to some other PC controllers and mouse maintenance/cleaning kit items etc STARED! at it for a moment to make sure i wasn't seeing things/optical illusion simply plug the controller into the device & insert CAREFULLY! into the usb port NEEDED INFO INCLUDED OF COURSE! :-). haven't picked one up yet but now I know it exists I'm seriously considering getting one ASAP cause the price just CAN'T BE BEAT ONLY $10.00 :-) :-) that's right a MERE $10.00 + tax if applicable of course not sure if it works with all controllers though but my guess says it should work with the MAJOR MAJORITY of what's available!!. will of course start spreading the news around to other gamers which will probably include G4 TV AND GET ONE OR MORE OF MY OWN FAIRLY SOON.

Yeah, I got one of these a while ago from the Vintage Gaming Network. They have them for N64 pads too.

Truth be told, though, the Hot Rod is still far superior to any PS joystick.

Ask if you're mystery informant knows anything about a unit that sits on top of your SNES and lets you play NES, SNES, AND Famicom games, wow, that would be the coolest thing EVER!
