A guy my dad works with offered him up a Flash pinball machine (the 1979) version. Apparently it is fully working (I would go home from school on a weekend to check it out though.) The guy told my dad to make an offer. What is a fair price for this machine if it does happen to be in decent shape and fully working?

Super common, early SS game. They turn up very often, and even if it's in very good working and cosmetic condition, I personally wouldn't offer more than $300-400 for it. Much less if it's beat up and/or not working. Expect a good amount of playfield wear on that particular game, though (unless it got very little use).

well, i went to see it today....and it is very NOT working....ball doesnt reset into the launch area, bumpers dont work or light up and the drop targets dont lift up...plus the sound seemed messed up (although i dont know what it is suppose to sound like in the first place)....the guy didnt have a price, but i didnt even make an offer....not worth the hassel of trying to repair it, in my opinion....oh well....the playfield was in pristine shape too.....would have looked nice in my basement arcade....
