Evidently you missed the button in the header bar stating "In English" ;)

"In English" only works with "IMPORTED" books/CDs/DVDs
Good luck with the rest of the site as its still in Japanese.

What are you looking for (from what country)? HKflix and poker industries usually have a pretty decent selection -- but there are numerous smaller importers if you are looking for something specific from Korea, or Thailand, for example...
I'd give HK flix a go, though.

Can't say I've ever had a problem tracking down Japanese DVDs on there, unless they've changed something recently.

The problem lies in what you're trying to buy. Japan DVDs are never cheap -- even a garden variety movie can run you 4800yen (or over $40). The budget titles come in at maybe 2500 yen. If you want a Japanese print of a DVD, and it's a LE, you're gonna have to pay $$$. Doesn't matter where you buy. The only possible relief you have is buying used in Japan, where you may get lucky and find something for 50% off retail or so.
I've found DVDs to be much pricier per unit in Japan than games. Games can go down in price pretty quickly, but DVDs always seem to hold their value. Even used music CDs tend to stay will about $10 (and usually above $20, if it's popular).
Oh, but one more good site: yesasia.com Their pricer aren't going to be any cheaper than Amazon, i'd guess, unfortunately.
