A touch to big for my GB Color, GB Pocket maybe? Anyone know the name of this thing?

gb pockets are smaller than gbcs so, maybe the original toaster? or is it not THAT big?

The Pocket is pretty thin...I don't remember the dimensions of the Game Boy Color *exactly* but I thought it was a bit thicker.
What use would it have? Especially that big bubble on the left side.

Can we see a pic of the other side of that large piece?

Try it on an SP- I just checked and it is a bit wider than the gbc if all it is is width. Hope that helps.

Hmm, I can't imagine it would be for the SP. You'd close the thing, and smash the stick right into the screen. ;-)

That was my first thought too.
I can't image how it would help your game, but maybe it would make Street Fighter-esque moves easier on the D Pad. Looks pretty useless for the A and B buttons, though.

I remember seeing some accessory like this for the SP in a magazine. It was used for some games like Street Fighter, like Rob said.
Try it on the SP. But take it off before you close it.

My guess would have to be that it's for the SP. The buttons look to be closer to the D-Pad than the original brick, a feature the SP shares. Then again, the container it comes with looks like it was made to mimic the B+W game cases.
I've never come across a control enhancer like that for the brick yet. Very few accessories were made in colors besides grey. The pocket and color years were pretty much dominated by transparent colors. So, I 'm gunna say SP.
I'd love for you to try it on some Game Boys and prove me wrong though.:P
