Question about Arcade Card Duo for TurboDuo

Anyone know if the arcade card for the Japanese turboduo work in the us one ?

I want to play Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire and i need this card to play it.

No.

Japanese HuCards, including the Arcade Card, won't work in a US Duo without an adapter. Lucky for me , I have the Arcade Card and a HuCard adapter for my US Duo! Yay.

Japanese Duos can be easier to find than US Duos, though, so if you can't find a suitable HuCard adapter that may be the way to go. Happy Hunting!

Just out of curiosity, is that a real Sapphire game or a bootleg?

I don't have the original game or an arcade card for my PC Engine Duo, so I played a CD-R on an emulator. It was nice, but unless I'm doing something wrong I found the ship to be way too slow to do anything useful, like dodge bullets.

But I only played with the blue ship, maybe the others are faster?

It's a good shooter it's... just overrated for the most part.

Still the only way to use the, Arcade card on a, U.S system is useing a converter or having the system modded.

Btw it's not worth paying for what a legit copy go's for.

Either get a burn or a fake copy ;)

I do have a cdr copy of the game... i'm not crazy enough to pay that much for the game without trying it before...

other option is get your US Duo mod'd for US/JP hucards...
there are people doing that kind of mod service for fee...
