Do these work very well? do you Get just as good of a connection as you would a wired? just curoius because i was thinking about buying one and didnt wanna get it if you worked like shit :D

My friend has one, he said that it was so simple pluged it right in and it worked perfect. As with all wireless things though it's never as reliable as a good old wired setup.

How far is it away from the router?
how far can you go with them and still have a good connection?

mine is in a different room,about 10-15 feet away.i think i read in the book it can go up to 40 or so feet.i'll look for the book later to get the exact number.

Well, wouldnt the distace it can be away depend on how good of a wireless router you have?

I have the wireless 360 adapter and it works like a charm. Actually works better than my D-link one I have in my pc.
The wireless router is 2 floors below my Xbox and it still works great. I havent notice any lag or had any problems with it. It definitely wasnt the easiest thing to set up. If you are having problems, instead of calling M$, check out xbox.com forums.

i just have a normal $25 dlink wireless router.i can't find the booklet,but i can vouch for it.i haven't had any problems or any lag at all.
