So, I have a Nintendogs Best Friends version game that I don't really want anymore and am just wondering your opinion on it's potential value. It seems that if I sold it right now on ebay, it would most likely go for $60+.
My question is, do you think that the value of this game has topped off or do you see room for a rise? Any opinions/discussion on the topic would be great, thanks!

I had no idea this was going for that much on ebay! :eek 2: I think it will remain desirible as it only came bundled with the DS systems. DS collectors will need it for complete collections I think.

yeah... DS collectors need to get it for a complete collection... and seeing as how the DS is still a new and current system, there are few real collectors for it at the moment.
it might sit at the $60 range for a little while, but i'd expect it to go up in a few years, after the DS has run it's course. that's when more people are likely to look back and say, "wow, i liked the DS... i should collect the games!" and then the price for it will go up since it's undoubtedly one of (if not the) hardest game to find for the system.
just my thinking...

Thanks for the thoughts, I'm still not exactly sure if now is the right time to sell or hold onto the game.
Any other thoughts/opinions?

If you want to keep playing it, keep it. If you don't, sell it. If you want to hang on to it for a collection, keep it. If you want to hang onto it so you can get more for it at a later date, then keep it.
We can't predict the future. I'd assume it would only go up in price due to the limited release, but when hoarding for cash you always run the risk of missing critical mass and losing money.
EDIT: Or run the risk of a phantom reprint courtesy of GQD, or in this case Nintendo. I'd imagine it'd be cheaper for them in the future to stop making 3 versions of the game and just print the best friends edition, so it may see a seperate release.

Hey there! Nobody has asked for a fortune teller reading here, I understand that you can't predict the future. As my original post stated, just looking for opinions and/or discussion on the subject.
