wtf?Cho-Aniki is NOT the only gay-game for SFC!

good god.....I just played the most weird game ever.
I'm brutally shocked by many things in this game.
It makes the well-known "Choaniki"-series look like "normal".

The game is "Gourmet Sentai Bara Yarou" for the Super Famicom and let me tell you:It's unbelievably gay and just ridiculously wrong in so many ways.
but first I have to say that it is a VERY(technical side) well done beat'em up(yay!) with awesome graphics,huge sprites,2 player mode and good sound.
At first I thought:"Yeah another great beat'em up for SNES" but after playing it for 10min my thoughts changed into:"Huh?Eh.....wtf?Oh!My god! o_0 etc etc".
The reasons for my thoughts were the characters and especially the enemies.

the "heroes" you can choose.A bitch with huge animated breasts; a uber-gay bodybuilder and a ninja who's head is out of hair(!) and has a fan in it.

The third attack is that he/it satisfies(oraly) you to death.
This is no joke:He graps you with his mouth between your feet and then he moves back and forward.

the usualy punk-enemy but this one attacks you with a stainless-steel knife-dick.

Get the rom and try it.It's a really good beat'em up but with a very strange theme.Oh and good luck finishing it:It took me at least 30tries to get through the game as it is VERY hard.

Um, yeah. Just had a quick go on this and yes, it's certainly a bit odd.

If anyone else is using the *ahem* rom, there is a translation patch by Aeon Genesis. Atm, the intro 'plot' and options are still in Japanese, but all the characters names are english.

I'm actually surprised about how good the game is. Normally these oddly styled games turn out to be a bit crap.

Haha, A button + d-pad = spin the girl around. YAY. I don't really like her idle stance though... :S

Also, at least with Madame, you can keep pressing Y (kick) when in midair (B to jump) for lots and lots of jump kicking FUNS.

a+d-pad with the bodybuilder is the gayest thing I've ever seen.
but holy crap this posing-animation from the bodybuilder is fluid.....I counted 8 or more motion-scenes.

Even after reading the thread with the adition of pictures, I just dont see the "gay" effect. It looks like any other fighting game out there. Final Fight looks more gay then this. If you think a giant mecha Tanooki is gay, you should avoid the Ghibli movie Pom Poko which is all about them.

I do not meant the "traditional" gayness but the "Choaniki" gayness(which indeed is in this game).I have nothing against gayness(is this even a word? :embarrassed: )....it just looks so funny.
and especialy the "choaniki"-gayness with it's bodybuilding characters.
you should really play the game.maybe then you will understand what I mean(t).

oh and I thought I have put a link(edit: done) to the review as it is very funny(something-awful style) to read....oh well.

Ah! Sorry, my mistake. I apologize but I have the sense of humor of dry toast. Which, now that I think about it nice warm toast with butter would be good right now.

As to playing the game, I'd love to as soon as I can track down a copy. It looks like it would be a fun game to play and an interesting conversation peice for when friends drop by to visit.

I played this game when I was checking out the SNES Rom set.

I believed enemies would drop ingredients that you could pick up and you could use it to cook thus the "Gourmet" aspect of the game...

although I would describe it as more "sureal" than "gay" even though the OP described what he meant by this game being "gay"

very fun...and now I'm tempted to play it again.

good look finding a physical copy of this game. it took me 2 hard years of searching, and i got the cart and box for $80 shipped. i think the homo-erotic display of the game was overstated, as with choaniki's sfc outing. its an interesting game though, with very nice graphics.
