I'm wondering if anyone here knows anything about this mystery Nintendo console: Data Ship 1200

http://collectionfab.chez-alice.fr/collection_img/DSC01064.JPG

It's a Famicom with built-in Network System Modem. For info on the standard Fami Net Sys, take a look here (http://assembler.roarvgm.com/famicom_network_system/famicom_network_system.html) at ASSEMbler's page. It basically allowed you to go online with your Famicom and do various financial things suck as manage your bank account and trade stocks & shares. Pretty cool, eh.

Thing about the DataShip1200, is that there's no Fami cart socket?!?! But there is this strange card socket.

In the first picture you can see a software card. This must contain the Banking software. Where it all gets stranger is this:

According to the guy's site (http://www.gamersgraveyard.com/repository/nes/peripherals/fcmodem.html), this is some sort of Famicom modem? But he also has a picture of a 'Data Card', containing what looks like the Famicom version of Popeye.

So, has anyone ever seen a DataShip1200? Or indeed, Famicom games on these Data Cards, that only seem to be compatible with the DS1200.

God only knows what that white jobbie is too.

I'm confused. Help. :D
