I have now been a gamer for 10 years!
It was at a yardsale when I was 6 and I found a sega genesis for $20. And its been with me ever since. now I wonder what the next 10 will be like 8-)

My 10th was also somewhere around 1999. Of corse, at the time, I was a casual gamer who only played his 5-6 mainstream N64 titles. I am extremely happy that I never decided to sell off my NES and Genesis systems & games back then ;)

well I console-wise I was 6 but I was playing Mspac in arcades since 1994, ha im still a noob

Im almost 20 years now. My mom picked up an NES a few weeks after its big release. She wanted something to do when I was sleeping as a kid. At that time i was just mashing buttons but when I was 2 she got me seaseme street for it and I started playing that regulary then going up to Bugs Bunny games etc.

I still remember my mom beating Mario 1 and Mario 2. I was so impressed at the time and still am kinda that she beat Mario 2. As its something you have to sit down and beat in one sitting.

Congrats man! This year is my 20th :) then again I could count 1984 as the 22nd since I was raised on a Commodore 64 to learn how to type on that and play GI Joe and Epyx Winter Games in 85'

Yet I'll just say 20, since the Sega Master System was my first system in 86'

Congrats! It's a nice thing to be able to celebrate. May you have many more years of enjoyable gaming moments.

This Xmas will mark the end of the 30th year of really liking electronic entertainment. My "gateway" game system was the Odyssey 300 my family was given for Xmas in 1976. (I was in fourth grade, I think I had just turned nine years old.)

My 10th year is this year on June 23rd. I got my N64 on launch and thats when it all started.

I am 20 now but i've been addicted since i was 2-3 years old.....or,young lol.

That's when i already got my nes with some games, i was almost always very very sick as a kid and my parents had t ofind something to keep me happy inside the house, so they got me the nes....if they only knew what it would do to me LOL

I still remember those years fondly, playing mario 1 with my mom and shooting ducks with my dad, good ol' times indeed !

I've litteraly grown up with nintendo, and i still think it's the best, it will always be the nr 1 game company for me that's for sure.

the snes is the one i have most good memories of, i was a little older by then and understood games better,and also had more friends that came over often, sure a ton of memory's about those years !

Hmm... first system would've been the NES which we got around the end of January '89. So I guess my 10 year would've been in '99 and today give or take a week would be my 17th... course, I was playing at the neighbors' place before we got ours... ah well.

Well I'd say we got our Atari 400 with ten games in 1981. So that makes this my 25 anniversary as a gamer. I was only three when we did, but I can still remember how excited my Dad and I were to play it!

My 10th year of gaming was in 1997 as well... and seeing Final Fantasy VII and Super Mario 64 in action felt great.

Now close to the end of my 18th year as a gamer, woo hoo! :D
