Take a look at my feedback.

See the neutral? How can I contact ebay to tell them about that? There's no way I'm going to let some 0 feedback punk ruin my perfect feedback.

Nice going with the perfect score, BTW! 8-)

lol, giving neutral only 4 days after the auction ended. Contact him and ask why.

It could have been worse...
Did you include the mouse with the game? Most people dont know they need it and you may have wanted to say that in the auction. Only a suggestion, but most people who buy this game never heard of the mouse unless you tell them. The game is useless in my opinion without it. I know ebay has resolution where most feedback can be withdrawn if the problem is solved. I have never bothered using it since the feedback like you got is obviously from a llama and most buyers will realize that.

Wow, what an asshole. Perhaps you can get him to remove it himself through mutual feedback removal.
That would really piss me off if I got a BS feedback like that.

Yeah eBay isn't going to care if you have a neutral. Just respond to the comment and be glad he didn't leave a negative.
I would leave a negative for him, saying that he jumps the gun after 4 days or something.

Leave the turd a negative and afterwards, initiate a mutual withdrawal. Once he sees his feedback, he may be more than happy to comply with the feedback withdraw. Here is the form you file:

I recently had two neutrals left for me with no good reason and after I left them a negative in return, they were sure quick to withdraw it. Good Luck! :)

Feedback Withdrawal looks worse than a Neutral---People notice it immediately.
Leave it there. Neutral will drop off in just a few months & nobody will see it.
And neg the buyer - "If problem contact Seller FIRST before leaving feedback PER EBAY RULES."

Wha? O_O
Neutral will drop off in just a few months? In your feedback profile, people will see the neutral for 12 months. It will be listed as a "1" in the Neutral column for a year. How does it drop off in a few months?
Also, how does a withdrawal look worse? How is it more noticeable than a neutral that will show up in your profile for a year? Once the withdrawal is off the first few pages of your feedback, no one will ever see it. Where, the neutral will show up for a year and even then, people could still find it if they wanted to. You really make no sense whatsoever.
For someone who makes $25 a year on ebay, you sure have it all together, huh? LOL

Honestly, i would just respond to the feedback "Buyer is a moron". It would be pretty obvious that he has no idea what he's doing. Neg 'em and be done with it.

That's wrong on so many levels that I can't do anything but laugh.
He probably didn't leave a neg because he knew it would get taken off your feedback. And I'm sure he could care less if you neg him back (new account and all).
It looks to me like he just opened the account just to f with people.

Feedback withdrawal stays at the top of the page for years. It never drops off. Looks bad.
People naturally assume a FW is a Negative-- worse than a neutral.
My last post should have read, "Neutral will drop off [the front page] in just a few months & nobody will see [the comments]."
And don't call me dumb. Just gave the same advice you'd find on Ebay's Forum. Go ask them.

Now why would anyone do that?

I got a neutral to way back...just let it go. As long as the guy didnt give you a negative dont worry about it.
The feedback system always was and always will be a single line description of *your* experience with the transaction.
It's pretty clear that you're no longer happy with the way the transaction was completed, so you're justified in leaving negative feedback. Be truthful and to the point:
"Buyer leaves neutral feedback before emailing. Will not deal with again."

Neg him.
I've had people leave me positves or neutrals just being like:
"I sent the money out today"
People are newbs.

Yeah, an "Im leaving the buyer a retalitory negative because he left me a neutral" comment will go over quite well and make the seller look real mature.
It sucks but its done and unfortunately there really isn't anything that came be done to change it. Move on and forget about it. As was said, you still have a 100% rating.

Leave the buyer a negative so that other sellers will see it and not sell to him.

Keep it professional in your feedback, leave facts not slander. I really hate it when people leave feedback with no facts to tell you exactly what happened.
What would be more useful as a negative feedback:
"Seller is a moron, doesnt know what the hell he is doing"
or
"Seller took 3 weeks to ship out my item"

I love it that he left the feedback over a $1 item. Just how was he going to get "screwed" on this? By losing $1?
LOL

Yeah, an "Im leaving the buyer a retalitory negative because he left me a neutral" comment will go over quite well and make the seller look real mature.
I agree wholeheartedly with XianXi on this issue. Feedback is all about the facts. The feedback system has nothing to do with retaliation (even though it has turned that way, now) and everything to do with facts and how the transaction went down.
Leaving a negative feedback for someone because they left you a neutral isn't immature at all, it's an accurate description of how the seller feels about how the transaction went.
If I look at a potential bidder, and see a message in his feedback that says "bidder leaves negatives/neutrals without communication" then that tells me that the bidder is a poor communicator and simply doesn't know how the system works. A person like that is someone I don't want bidding on my auctions, and I praise any seller who leaves feedback along those lines.
