this is a long shot but dammit i need to know what i've got here. it looks like a NEO GEO AES controller (big black, arcade style stick) and its called "IMP super 328 intelligent mega power stick". it has big A,B,C buttons with rapid buttons over them and select, start buttons at the top. the bottom has A or B mode switch and a hatch for 4 AAs. the edge facing away from the player has 9 pin joystick style port, a DIN pin like you would see on a sega CD and then a mystery port covered with a plate that has some sort of 12 pin connector slot underneath.

gosh its mystery to me, i picked it up a flea market for a couple of bucks thinking it was a genesis arcade stick. now i suspect it maybe one of those controllers with built in games but i lack the connector to hook it up to a TV.

maybe it's a dual console controller? There aren't many controllers that work on 2 different systems, but that might be it.

..or possibly it's an Apple II joystick???

I don't think Apple II had that kind of controller. AFAIK Apple II used 15 pin connector like PC did.

I'm thinking that controller is used for dual system setup, I've seen a few controllers for both SNES and Genesis.

Hi, i have a boxed complete one of these. It's actually a dual PC-Engine/Sega Megadrive stick. It should come with a lead that has an adapter either end to match whichever system you want to use. I use mine with my PC-Engine set up and it's great. I love the Neo Geo rip off design with the MD arcade stick fire buttons. They were hong kong made.

Edit, just noticed this question is 6 years old! LOL i was looking for more info on them myself when this thread popped up in google! DOH!
