thots?

You remind me of a user that recently departed this board. :)

And if it actually has the name somewhere on the item or packaging, that was fairly common back then, especially for Sears stores.

Meseta for ur thots?

Meh. There were literally dozens of Pong clones back in the day. Here is simply one that had a mostly Japanese distribution. Had you visited Akihabara in 1979 you would probably have seen several similar devices for sale. Personally I would buy it for the retro factor or because I dig Pong, but not because it's some sort of foreign grail, because it is not.

Thanks for the picture though; I now know what one of my pong consoles actually is.

I imagine they would be at least somewhat common, seeing as I managed to come across one way up here in the far north.

Thawed it out of a block of Ice I cut from a glacier for cooking water, I did. ;)

You definitely would have, but the new Fujitsu FM-8s, NEC PC-8001, and Sony Walkmans would've been crowding them out for space (and personally, I would've gone for the computers), I think.

God of Wisdom and Writing. Oh, the irony. :hmm:

More traditionally known as Thoth.

rbudrick, your researching skills surpass mine, no doubt. Ha, that's gotta be the best find I've seen in a while. :D
